What will be your gift for your Valentine this year if you are given a budget of Rs. 8000.00

Amidst all the tensions that was prevailing in my official life and my personal life the day I was expecting came. Valentine's Day. People used to make fun saying that if you love truly then all the 365 days are valentines and on leap year 366 days. My answer to them is yes all days are special but valentine's day is really special. Just because we are celebrating Aug 15th as Independence day does that mean we are not independent on other dates??? sorry went off the track. So for this valentine's day I wanted to gift him something he is looking for a long time. He is a music lover and loves to listen to music all times.

So, I can gift him an MP3 player or an IPOD. Here is the catch. He already has two MP3 players. So what to do. Then when he took me to the near by shopping mall last time I saw this BOSE showroom. As usual we went there to checkout the demonstrations. Even though he wont buy anything just to listen to the music the way BOSE delivers is special according to him. This time I was a bit more curious on noticing what all things he is looking at. This time after seeing all the hometheater systems and other things he was checking for the desktop speakers.


BOSE Companion™ 2 Series II Multimedia Speaker System

In the Bose shop we saw the cute little speakers. The sound quality was excellent. They demonstrated playing some MP3 songs some audio cds and also a DVD. The speaker had a volume control on its own. Also you can plug in a headphone. The best part of it is you can connect the Speakers to the PC and then you can also connect it to an MP3 player. I gave the guy the MP3 player I had just to check. It worked perfectly fine and I was amazed to see the sound quality. It produced good sound even at a higher volume. If the equalizer in the player is perfect then there is no worries.

I simply loved the music, when I love it he should also love it. When we came out he told that the speaker is good but he is not going to get it as he is looking for a higher model which is pretty costly. I decided this has to be my gift as my budget is only 8000 and it suits the budget well. The next day went to the same shop got it and Gift wrapped it. He was on cloud nine when he realised what his gift was and he plays my favourite numbers first before switching to his. This is love.

Digital Photo Frames (Reviews)

Photography is a pretty good hobby and also a good profession. We take photos to remember the good old days. Even today, we take photos all the time just to remember the occassion. We can take photos in various ways. You can use a camera which uses a film roll to take a photo or you can use a mobile or a digital camera or a handycam to take photos. Whatever mode you choose to take photos you need to view them at the time you want it. Ok lets see what we have in plate.

Photos taken using regular film rolls.

1. Developing and Printing.
2. Might go off over a period of time.
3. Need bulky and heavier albums.
4. Carrying around is difficult.


Photos taken using Digital Media.

1. No developing required.
2. Can pick and choose the photos to print.
3. Lasts longer.
4. Copying and sharing is pretty easy.



Ok. Now after discussing about the photos lets move to the next stage. Presentation of photos. We normally present photos as "Albums". In picasa also you can see the use of web albums. Or you will print a photo and then put it on a metal or a wooden fram and keep it in a showcase for people to see. Do we have variety of frames as we have varieties in photos. Yes we do. Ok lets discuss them.

A regular photo frame is normally made up of wooden or steel. How many of us know that carrying wooden items into some of the countries is banned? So we need to afford for a much heavier metal frames. And carrying around them is also not easier.

Advantage :

Nothing Big. Just you can blow up a photo you can print and put it on a frame and put it on a show case.

Disadvantage :

How many you want. Only one foto can be put up a time. Sometime you might get bored seeing the same. No change of photo according to your mood or mindset or environment. No added music and no additional accessories. If you want to light it up you need to put up an extra lighting near it.

Now coming to the latest technology piece. Technology has not only made our world small but has also increased our comfort. As many of us know, digital photos taken using any of the digital media can be transfered to our PCs and then shared across with friends and family using one of the various photo sharing websites. Now incase somebody comes home and you need to show them the latest photos, you need to switch on the PC. Is there an easier way. Yes there is. Connect the Digital camera or the handycam to the TV and start showing the photos. (Very few mobiles can be directly connected to the TVs). Ok is there any other way? Oh yes. We have. Think about a lovely a digital photo frame.



Advantages :

Play the set of photos you like. Play some music with it. Digital photo frames comes with an option of displaying a clock. Some of them come with alarm clock and also FM. So watch the photos you like with the music you like. Since most of the Digital Photo Frames come with USB connectivity enabled, transferring photos from PC to it is much faster. The Digital photo frames comes with inbuilt light. Also these frames comes in various sizes from a key chain to a 21" frame. Since digital photos lasts long so do the fotos these frames display.

Disadvantages:

Memory limitation. With a digital frame of smaller memory size you can only copy a few amount of fotos and some music. The amount of photo and variety of music depends on the memory of the frame. Thats it. I am sorry friends, if anyone knows anything more than this let me know I will also learn.
